Amber graduated from DePauw University with a dual bachelor’s in Creative Writing and Philosophy and went on to complete her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction at Northwestern University. Her work has appeared in Hippocampus Magazine, Travel Indiana, and the Toad Suck Review, among other publications. Amber has worked as a reviewer for the American Library Association magazine Booklist, a professor of English at Ivy Tech, a freelance reporter, and in many other roles like reception and customer service.
