6259 North College Avenue Indianapolis, IN 46220

The human services sector is ripe for innovation. Join fellow tech leaders to launch the next cycle of United Way’s Social Innovation Fund.

Did you know that more than 230,000 households in Central Indiana are in, or one step away from, poverty? That’s about one in four families.

It’s clear that the old ways of solving poverty aren’t working and it’s time to drive innovation that comes up with new solutions to this problem.

Join emcee Matt Hunckler and tech leaders from across the region to learn about the Social Innovation Fund, an initiative of United Way that’s investing in new and disruptive approaches to tackling generational poverty. United Way has recently reinvented their funding model with the goal of driving such innovation across the nonprofit sector to eliminate poverty.

Hear from recipients from the first Social Innovation fund including Crossroads Education’s Ubuntu Project and The Kheprw Institute’s Entrepreneurial Accelerator Incubator and learn how they are tackling the challenge. Learn first-hand what they find working.

Immerse yourself in a VR experience of an Indianapolis resident living in poverty.

Learn about Lilly Foundation’s $1 million matching grant for new corporate donors.

Indy needs the Tech community to step-up and help solve this problem. Let’s join forces and put Indy on the map for successfully disrupting poverty.

Enjoy complimentary snacks and a cash bar while learning how your company can play a part in seeding the next cycle of the Social Innovation Fund.
