What would you say to women who are looking to enhance their careers, but may be hesitant to take the next step?

“Many women wait until they are tapped on the shoulder to apply for a new position. Believe in yourself and submit your application! Even if you don't meet every qualification listed in a job description, that doesn't mean you shouldn't apply. One thing that always comes up when I talk with women about the next step is that they are thinking about who else would apply/get the role, and how it would affect how other people would think of them if they were to transition.”
