What is Signal?
Procter & Gamble’s Signal event is a high-caliber discussion unlike any other digital industry conference of its kind. Signal P&G has earned a reputation for consistently sparking inspiration, education and activation for their employees around the world. More than 700 P&G employees and external partners attend the event annual event in-person and an additional 1,500 of their employees watch the live webcast from remote locations.
In the past, the conference has attracted globally renowned speakers such as Richard Liu, Founder and CEO of JD.com; YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki; Arianna Huffington, Founder and CEO of Thrive Global; Emily Chang, Chief Marketing Officer of Starbucks China; and media titan Katie Couric.
This year’s central theme, “Building a Consumer Experience Company,” will expand the conference’s focus to discuss how to engage with consumers at every touchpoint. The conference’s goal? Empower businesses to “provide irresistably Superior Customer Experiences” with five core P&G innovation elements – “Superior Product, Packaging, Communication, Retail Execution, and Value.”
This year’s speakers include:
What is happening at Union Hall?
For the first time since Signal’s inception – P&G has teamed up with Cintrifuse open up a new layer of access to the event. In 2019, Union Hall will serve as a “satellite” location for the Signal event – equipped with a simulcast, two-way connection to the main event and exclusive content made available to only those in attendance at the Union Hall location.
Special “StartupCincy” engagements will include – P&G workshop topics led by StartupCincy community leaders, live ‘Studio B’ recordings of off-site interviews of main event keynote speakers, a startup-built “Gamificaiton Lab,” a Over-the-Rhine-powered Happy Hour and more! This will be the first time where startup enthusiats – both locally and nationwide – will have a chance to participate openly in an offsite location for P&G’s Signal event.
