UNMET Founders 2020

UNMET Founders conference is aimed at creating a venue for underrepresented founders, especially women and diverse founders to help raise venture funding. First, of its kind, UNMET Founders 2020 is hosted by the UNMET Network. Presenting companies will have an opportunity to pitch their businesses to 150+ early-stage (Seed & Series A) investors from across the country and a chance to network with peers.

The UNMET Founders 2020 virtual conference will be hosted on a video pitch platform. This platform enables investors and founders to meet inside of public or privately hosted networks for one-on-one meetings. Using a mobile platform, founders can create short-form video pitches that are like Instagram Stories to give a brief pitch of their company.

For Founders

Founders that have never pitched at UNMET Conferences

Companies can start the application process through a web-based application, which includes a company profile, investment metrics, and a short video elevator pitch. Once this is completed, you will receive a confirmation email on your submission. The UNMET Team will review your application. If the application is accepted, you will receive an acceptance email on or before November 11th.

While the web does support a webcam recording, we highly recommend recording your videos using your phone and saving them to your computer, and uploading them, as most laptop cameras are 720p, and phones are significantly higher quality.

For Investors

UNMET Founders 2020 will be held over a 3-week period from Nov. 16th to Dec. 6th. Investors will be provided all pitch materials and Thumbraise platform access during this event. To allow investors a chance to review company materials ahead of time and schedule one-on-one meetings using the Thumbraise platform.
