This role will be responsible for the Back End Revenue Cycle. Functions include Insurance Billing, Cash Posting, Insurance and Patient Balance Follow Up, Credits Resolution, etc. They will work alongside other RCM Directors and Managers to develop best practices, document processes, execute on stated goals, and drive efficiencies within the team.
This manager will have specific responsibility over multiple functions (listed above) and will work in concert with peers. They will report directly to the VP of Revenue Cycle.
What you should know about this role:
- Experienced Revenue Cycle leader both managing functions and people.
- Has a strong understanding of RCM best practices and is able to identify and close gaps in process breakdowns.
- Metric driven and uses both input and output metrics to gauge performance and set targets.
- Manager will be asked to present performance reports to leadership.
- Can articulate macro and micro trends in the business and functional areas that lead to insight and performance improvement.
- Has a strong aptitude for staff development and training and does not shy away from feedback - both positive and negative.
- Brings a high level of industry best practice knowledge and also willing to think creatively about solutions that may not be apparent.
- Willing to work in the details but not afraid to appropriately delegate.
- Strong sense of the intersection of individual performance (productivity) and staffing requirements (what is needed).
- Willingness to work cross functionally and take on new tasks if and when needed.
- Flexibility in functional alignment and ownership will be critical to success.
What makes you the best fit for Tend:
- 5+ years of Back End Revenue Cycle experience (ideally in Dental industry)
- 3+ years experience managing people
- Has led more than a single revenue cycle function (i.e. billing, cash posting, AR, etc.)
- Excellent communicator and collaborator
- Strong analytics stills
