Hinge is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to join the Decision Science team at Hinge. The BI team at Hinge empowers the business by providing self-service tools and ad hoc analytics to make insights from our data more visible and accessible. As a BI manager on the Decision Science team, you will lead a team of experienced data analysts & BI Engineers who work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand and execute on their reporting and analytics needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of experienced BI Engineers and data analysts in support of key business initiatives
• Develop BI roadmap, strategies, and processes
• Partner with stakeholders in Community, Marketing, Finance, and Product, and execute on their reporting & analytics needs
• Collaborate with Data Science and Data Engineering to refine BI tools and methodologies
• Perform hands-on work as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years of work experience, including 5+ years in business intelligence or related fields
• 3+ years of experience working with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers
• 2+ years of experience in people, organizational, and project management
• Proficiency in SQL in a big data environment
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker (preferred) or Tableau
• Proven ability to solve complex analytical problems and deliver insights from data
• Strong understanding of data modeling practices and techniques
• Familiarity with Python, R, or equivalent
• Preferred: Familiarity with data science and analytics engineering concepts
• Attention to detail
• Superb communication and presentation skills
