Group Product Manager, Monetization at Tinder | Powderkeg

You will join an experienced team product managers on the Revenue Team at Tinder while reporting directly to the Director of Revenue Product. The position comes with the chance to bring premium experiences to millions of users globally.

As the Group Product Manager of Monetization, you will lead and establish a team of other Product Manager's that will be responsible for developing our global business model in 100+ countries. Additionally, you will build our pricing, packaging, and payments strategy while charting the path forward with Tinder’s growing virtual currency marketplace.

This position can be remote or located in Los Angeles, Palo Alto, or San Francisco, CA.

What You'll Do:

  • Understand Tinder’s strategic and driven position and deliver outstanding experiences to our audience.
  • Guide the product strategy for commercialization and communicate your rationale to the executive team and company partners
  • Support data analytics, A/B testing, qualitative user research, and predictive modeling to optimize critical metrics, identify business opportunities, and craft the Revenue roadmap.
  • Collaborate across design, engineering, analytics, and user research departments to implement innovative new features that result in revenue growth.
  • Learn the dynamics of the Tinder community, understand the psychology of our users, and identify their in-product needs.
  • You will communicate your experiment roadmap, hypotheses, and results to team members, PM peers, and executives.
  • Drive innovation, definition, roadmap, and design of A/B tests and product experiments to accelerate the growth of our active users and paid customers.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of product management in a fast-growing consumer tech company, mobile games, and or subscription business.
  • At least 2+ years of management experience.
  • Prior professional working experience with pricing, packaging, and payments of a product is a requirement.
  • The expertise to assess the impact of a feature for end-users and the platform it’s being built for.
  • Strong product intuition and UX design sensibilities, with a desire to discover and fulfill the needs of users.
  • Experience defining metrics and making product and strategic decisions based on A/B testing and/or qualitative feedback.
  • Experience working on consumer mobile apps: mobile games or mobile subscription business experience is a bonus.
