We are always on the lookout for talented people to join and have a positive and lifelong impact on people’s lives but today we are specifically looking for a Mobile App React Native Engineer.

This is a highly collaborative and impactful role where you will be working with different experts to lead Hawaya’s success in becoming a global leader of transforming the way Muslims find their soulmate.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and implement scalable international iOS and Android applications
• Collaborate with the product and backend teams to build solutions that delight users
• Own the entire development lifecycle from specification to deployment of the product features and monitoring in production
• Ensure quality and timely deliverables
• Contribute to product architecture and design to build a robust high performance secure service
• Design and develop product features and contribute to POCs and ideation for product development and improvements

Skills that will help you succeed:

• 3+ years of experience in React Native mobile development for Android & iOS
• Strong experience working with GIT, Redux, Typescript & Jest
• Good knowledge of React
• Experience working with 3rd party APIs
• Agile and innovative spirit
• A self-motivated, eager and quick learner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Sense of ownership with eye on details
• Very good communication, planning and time management skills
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
• Wants to work in a fast high-growth startup environment that respects its engineers and customers
