As a Mobile Engineer at Match Group, you’ll build new features and customer experiences for some of our apps including BLK, Chispa, Upward, OurTime, BlackPeopleMeet, and our flagship dating app, Match, which all fall under the Match Group Portfolio (https://mtch.com/).

We’re based in Dallas, TX. However, we are open to considering a remote office for a highly qualified candidate who can travel periodically to Dallas (when safe to do so)

How you’ll make an impact:

• By taking pride in your work and ensuring that user experience and development quality are superb
• By bringing iOS and/or Android subject matter expertise along with strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• By putting the user experience first but also understanding the importance of technical excellence and business alignment
• By exercising the ability to break down complex business requirements and think analytically about the underlying business problems the requirements are solving
• Collaborate on the design and development of new and existing systems and applications
• Develop, test, implement, maintain and provide future recommendations for our online dating communities.
• Contribute ideas and make recommendations for features and systems that align with shared organizational goals and priorities
• You’ll work across the full stack of the app, with a focus on UI, and also help us update our architecture and design patterns on a regular basis
• You’ll develop new features and implement changes to existing features
• You will take new features from concept and design to implementation and testing

We could be a match if you bring:

• Proficiency in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android) and its design patterns
• Deep understanding of UIKit, Cocoa design patterns and API design and/or proficient Android UI Skills (ConstraintLayout, MotionLayout, CoordinatorLayout, animations and custom views)
