Modern progressive Muslim women want to be able to find a life partner for themselves, but the typical online dating journey was not compatible with their values.

We are always on the lookout for talented people to join and have a positive and lifelong impact on people’s lives but today we are specifically looking for a Product Director to sit directly under our General Manager and lead the product team (Product Managers, Product Designer and Data Scientist)
This is a highly collaborative, central and impactful role where you will be working with different experts to lead Hawaya’s success in becoming a global leader of transforming the way Muslims find their soulmate.
What you will be doing:
You will work daily on trying to have the biggest impact for the business by solving our users' problems.
Define the product strategy and roadmap:
- Engage closely with customers and internal teams to understand their needs, pains, and desires in order to define product outcomes for your teams to achieve
- Drive growth and retention by ensuring a well-defined strategy and execution plan
- Collaborate with Marketing to assess the market landscape and trends to define product opportunities we should pursue
Execute and deliver valuable product increments:
- Collaborate with Tech to develop the best solutions for our users
- Partner with Marketing to collaborate on the go-to-market strategy
- Set objectives and key results and hold yourself and the team accountable
- Lead and mentor a team of PM(s), Designer(s) & Data Scientist(s) each with their own area of product responsibility
- Contribute to the product team's success by continuously improving the way we work
- Support the team in defining their roadmaps, guiding prioritization and decision-making and ensuring they have the resources they need to be successful
- Build relationships across the organization and communicate your strategy
- Define and proactively measure product KPIs to support and inform product decisions
**Skills that will help you succeed: **
- 7-10+ years of experience, with 2-3+ years of experience in management functions
- Experience building B2C global products
- Experience managing Product Managers, Designers & Data Scientists
- Experience leading software product from discovery to launch, in a product management capacity
- Experience with working for and leading teams within a multicultural international environment
- Strong analytical skills to understand and solve complex problems
- Strategic thinker and fast learner
- Able to prioritize tasks and deliver on commitments
- Strong technical knowledge, comfortable participating in technical decisions
- Fluent in English (international team) and French (role based in Paris)
- Keen sense for user experience and product details
- Very comfortable with agile and lean concepts
- A good knowledge of Muslim culture
