The Match Group Safety team is on a mission to create safer platforms and
communities for all. We’re looking for a Senior Safety Marketing Manager to
join our team and help us build an authentic, equitable, and respectful
community of safety.
In this role you’ll join the Match Group Safety Team and improve the safety of
all Match Group brands by informing a global strategy for safety marketing and
consult with brands across our portfolio to help them execute safety campaigns
and strategic initiatives.
Match Group is based in Dallas, TX but we are open to hiring in any city
where we have an office/workspace - LA, SF, Dallas, New York, or Washington
DC.
How you'll make an impact:
- Through expertise in T&S marketing, you will provide insight and knowledge to help brands develop the positioning and user messaging for new products and consult on go-to-market strategies to drive success of safety features and programs
- You will partner with brand marketing, product, and communications teams to develop strategy and advise on safety campaigns to increase user awareness of safety features, information, resources, and programs
- You will work closely with brands to develop shared safety user education assets to create a more educated community
- You will promote a consistent look and feel for safety across the portfolio by infusing the Match Group Safety vision in brands’ marketing materials and content, while maintaining their unique tone and voice
- You'll develop and evangelize new safety ideas with product, marketing, operations, and comms teams to champion safety marketing initiatives and partnerships
- YOu will provide insight and thought leadership on measuring success. A sense of trust and safety is often hard to quantify. This role will inform what our success metrics should be and how and when we measure them
- You will evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns through tests, iterations, measurement, and analysis to optimize for results
We could be a match if:
- You have at least 5 years of experience in consumer product marketing with expertise in safety, trust, or crisis management
- You have a builder’s heart. You thrive on the opportunity to build strategy, structure, and process where none existed before while being deeply collaborative
- you have the drive to tell amazing stories. You distill the core safety narrative for our portfolio and then work with brands to tell a compelling story to our users about how we fight to keep them safe
- You have the expertise to be a willing and thoughtful collaborator. As a part of a central team, you will need to build trust with the brand teams and be able to operate across a portfolio with many different agencies and stakeholders
- You have exceptional project and stakeholder management skills
- You are passionate about creating safer communities and have a bold fearlessness to make it happen
