As the Senior Security Engineer, you will work on Match Group’s Detection & Incident Response Team. You will have the opportunity to to build and improve monitoring processes, build automations and tooling, and identify/defend against adversarial risks and attack vectors across multiple Match Group company teams. Candidates for this role should be intellectually curious, looking to be challenged in a diverse environment, and challenged with continuous research and development of latest detection and response capabilities.

We are flexible and offer full remote or hybrid working models as options to accommodate our team. Match Group is headquartered in Dallas, TX with offices in LA, Palo Alto, San Francisco, and New York.

How you'll make an impact:

• You will build upon, and improve our logging and monitoring infrastructure in collaboration with Security Engineering, Information Technology, and other Information Security teams.
• You will investigate security incidents across multiple companies, including partnering with engineering & operations teams, legal, and communications.
• You will continuously improve our monitoring capabilities by creating and iterating on new detections from latest threat vectors and adversarial campaigns working with multiple stakeholders to build detections and incident response playbooks
• You will assist with the selection, implementation, and usage enhancement of advanced monitoring tools.
• You will use automation to improve detection and response times and mitigate incident impact.

We could be a match if:

• You have familiarity with writing detection logics, triaging alerts, and incident response processes
• You have experience with Splunk Enterprise Security
• You have understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, DLP, CSPM, CASB, ESG, SIEM, SOAR, EDR
• Your experience includes detecting abuse and large-scale attacks in a diverse environment
• You have experience working in cloud environments
• You are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders such as engineering/operations teams, internal business units, external incident response teams, and law enforcement throughout the incident lifecycle
