Reporting to the CEO for Eureka, the Strategy Manager is a standalone position that supports senior leaders on their most important strategic initiatives and challenges.

How you’ll make an impact:

Strategic Planning & Evaluation

・Support the CEO and Director of Finance to identify internal and external strategic opportunities and work with the executive team to develop proposals to leverage these opportunities.

・Succinctly and persuasively communicate your findings and make recommendations – anything from informing long-term product roadmaps to responding to competitive pressures

・Analyze global and regional consumer trends and competitive landscape Identify and evaluate relevant 3rd party strategic partners, investment or acquisition targets

・Work closely with the Director Finance to ensure annual and mid-term plan strategy and finance alignment

Business Performance & Risk Management

・Evaluate and recommend business portfolio frameworks, strategies, processes and measures/KPIs to be applied across the business.

・Work with the business executives and stakeholders in order to evaluate overall performance against targets and make necessary adjustments as is necessary

Strategic Communication & cross-functional collaboration

・Facilitate preparation for CEO/GM organizing meetings such as all-hands

・Lead critical strategic cross-functional initiatives

We could be a match if you have:

・5+ years of related experience (eg. strategy, finance, management consulting)

・Strong track record of identifying key questions; defining, performing and coordinating analyses; and communicating findings in a clear and concise way

・Must be organized, deadline-driven and an excellent communicator

・Superior proficiency in analysis/modeling in Excel and building presentations in Powerpoint

・Near native English and Japanese skills (TOEIC >900, JLPT 1 equivalent)

・Strategic and creative thinker, result-driven, self-motivated and proactive, team oriented with strong ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment

・Experience in accounting concepts and financial planning

・MBA or equivalent

・Experience working for a subscription service

・Prior experience working in a cross functional environment
