About the Recover Product and Team

Our mission as the Recover CX product team is to deploy empathy and consumer- focused solutions across the entire consumer experience. We are the core revenue driving product & the work we do will impact millions of people in debt across the country. This team builds and continuously improves everything from a large-scale serverless communication service that sends millions of communications a day to the empathy-driven frontend of Recover. What You’ll Do:

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Significant software engineering experience in Go
• Expertise working with a distributed serverless (aws lambda) architecture
• Expertise with Kubernetes, or deep experience working with other container orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, ECS, EKS, GKE, etc).
• The ability to lead core projects & be a strong team player
• The ability to lead technical architecture discussions and help drive technical decisions
• Be able to effectively work with Product management & communicate with stakeholders
• An intuition on what makes great software, and the ability to explain it
• The ability to write high-quality code that is well-tested and robust

Who You Might Be:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK)
• Some software experience in Python & Scala
• The ability to mentor and up-level those around you
• A strong interest improving system reliability
• Experience working with Datadog or other application performance monitoring tools
