Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Head of Credit for Upgrade Card to develop and maintain a range of credit strategies which include front end underwriting, portfolio management & loss forecast for Upgrade Card
  • Actively evaluate consumer behavior analytics around card usage and balance
  • Monitor various A/B tests to understand sensitivity around line and pricing, and make recommendations based on the findings
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and BI to find opportunities in improving current KPIs and tracking to optimize funnel and customer experience
  • Monitor and communicate card performance through hands on analysis
  • Develop and manage periodic reporting templates to executive management, and Upgrade Investor teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related
  • 1-2+ years of industry experience in at scale technology, start-up or high growth company
  • Working knowledge in SQL, R/ Python required, Tableau preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of statistical procedures, decision tree, and financial analytic tools
  • Strong data-manipulation and data visualization skills
  • Experience exploring new tools and methodologies to solve real-world problems
  • Detail oriented and strong analytical skills
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced environment whilst focused on critical issues

Plus

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics
  • Experience in a fintech or financial services industry
  • Expert knowledge in SQL, R/ Python required, Tableau preferred
