As a Workday Systems or HRIS Manager, you'll support the maintenance, integrity, optimization, and ongoing use and rollout of Workday at Upgrade. We use Workday as our platform for all things People Operations (Compensation, Learning, Talent, Time, Payroll, Performance, and so forth) for our 1,000+ member North America team. You'll work with key business stakeholders and our People Operations team to identify gaps and enhancement opportunities in our Workday system and business processes. While Workday administration is the primary focus of this role, you'll have the opportunity to learn and help support other platforms such as Greenhouse, Atlassian (JIRA + Confluence), and Genesys Cloud to further enhance our workplace culture through technology, automation, and data analytics.

What you'll do

  • Oversee and maintain the day to day function of our Workday HRIS. This may include implementation, customization, development, maintenance, and system upgrades
  • Collaborate with business leadership and People Operations team to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users including the Payroll team, People Operations team, Analytics teams, and beyond
  • Lead and participate in the review, testing and implementation of Workday releases and communicate the potential benefit of these features to stakeholders
  • Be the go to person for People Operations reporting needs
  • Manage user permissions and general data integrity in partnership with the HR administration team
  • Document our system procedures and processes within Confluence

  • Have (Required): either 3+ years of Workday experience preferred or 5+ years of comparable HRIS administration experience
  • Workday certifications in one or more of the following: HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Learning, and Performance is desire
  • Bachelor’s degree is also required
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills with the ability to analyze and understand issues and root causes, and problem solve in a collaborative team environment
  • Must have an ownership mentality with a high sense of responsibility
