Our Healthcare and Life Sciences sales team is looking for a Business
Development Representative to support and manage the overall health of our
research partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-
end management of all research projects and report directly to the Research
Account Executive. You will work directly with our research customers
throughout the education of WHOOP, pricing, onboarding, implementation, and
conclusion of each study. You will play a key role in developing a scalable
operations foundation to support our fast-growing research vertical.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work directly with prospects and customers to explain the value proposition of WHOOP and understand business model/pricing
- Support the Research Sales team by acting as the primary point of contact for our research customers
- Work directly with our internal support team to streamline account success and relay relevant customer feedback to the team lead
- Support the Account Executive throughout the sales process by creating deal opportunities, generating quotes, and negotiating contracts
- Work with Sales Development Representatives to qualify new research leads
- Assist in the development of processes for streamlining customer onboarding and off boarding in order to increase the scalability of the research vertical
- Assist in creating and owning a customer management reporting system that will demonstrate the status of our research studies and accounts
- Act as a liaison between our research partners and our marketing team to make meaningful connections for WHOOP Podcast and Locker content
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales, Customer Success or Operations role with similar responsibilities, preferably in a SaaS company
- Proficiency with platforms like Salesforce, Looker, Typeform, and Excel
- Prior experience building digital health solutions and/or working with wearable technology
- Excellent communication skills, a self-starter attitude, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve health
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling is a plus
