We are currently seeking motivated aircraft technicians to join our flight test team. You will support aircraft integration, maintenance, operation, modifications, and repairs of 2 Bell 206 aircraft(B3 and L1). You will work with other technicians and engineers to install, remove or modify systems and perform inspections. You take initiative, creatively solve problems, and are good with the fine details. You love being challenged with unique issues, and want to be an integral part of the next great thing in aviation.

Within3 months you will

  • Set up a shop to be able to have maintenance done in house
  • Take ownership of maintenance tracking and planning.
  • Modify our L1 with the R&D division to safely operate tests

Within 6 months you will

  • Transfer documentation into a digital platform
  • Formulate a system for future planning of different test articles.

Within 12 months you will

  • Take ownership of maintenance in house of the B3
  • Work with the test team on the WISk aircraft, crew chief flight events

Required

  • A&P with 8 years or more experience
  • Current IA
  • Part 135 experience
  • A self starter that can fill his/her time with productive tasks to help the entire test team
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule
  • Great mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to understand and comprehend assigned tasks
  • Ability to work with flight test and design engineers and understand technical drawings
  • Flight line handling and comfort with radio communication
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Desired

  • R&D background
  • Wire harness fabrication/repair experience
  • Knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets
