Wisk is currently seeking an JIRA & Atlassian Administrator in our growing IT Team to support the development of an exciting and revolutionary new class of all-electric aircraft. As a key member of the IT team, you will be working with our Engineering and Business customers to develop and deploy innovative tool solutions.

Within 3 months you will:

• Provide first level support for users of our task management system, JIRA and JIRA Service Desk
• Administer and deploy Atlassian Tools and configurations
• Provide recommendations on Agile methodologies and best practices on working on Scrum teams
• Become familiar with our requirements management, model based systems engineering, and systems development plans

Within 6 months you will:

• Configure and support our tools to meet the needs of our customers
• Provide expert advice during process discussions, and identify areas for tool improvement
• Represent IT in discussions about workflow management, project management and task automation.
• Integrate Jira into key business processes and systems

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our Systems Engineering and Program Management tool suites specifically Task Management (JIRA) and Service Management (JIRA), serving as the SME for the Atlassian Toolset
• May also include support of other IT Business Applications such as HRIS, ERP, or Finance tools with the opportunity to grow as an Enterprise Application Engineer
• Working with our Systems Engineering and Program Management teams to understand their processes and needs, and being a customer advocate in team strategy discussions
• Work with stakeholders to develop and deploy new processes and process enhancements across our tool suite.
• Work with the rest of the IT and Engineering Systems team to create a cohesive data management solution for the Wisk engineering and manufacturing organizations
• Maintain security and integrity across Jira Projects and systems, set permissions, audits, and manage data integrity
• Automate the environment for scalability

Requirements:

• Experience developing and deploying JIRA tool configurations and plugins
• Experience documenting processes and using Confluence
• Experience with agile methodologies and experience working on Scrum teams
• Experience working within both Atlassian Server/Datacenter & Cloud Platforms
• Experience with Java and/or Python, as well as with scripting languages such as Groovy, JavaScript, and others
• Familiarity with software development practices, including software configuration management tools such as SVN and git
• Working knowledge of Enterprise User Authentication methodologies such as LDAP, Active Directory & SSO
• Experience with both on-Prem and Cloud Jira instances and integration with Active Directory
• Experience working within an Aerospace environment with be beneficial
