The mission of Advanced R&D is to ensure that Wisk has the right portfolio of technologies available so that Wisk is at the forefront of sustainable aviation transportation.

Advanced R&D will focus in the following areas.

- Competitive Intelligence: Evaluation of our competitors. What can we learn from them?

- Advanced Concepts: Development of technologies and systems that are not yet mature enough to be part of an active program (future battery chemistries, active noise control, advanced automation, etc)

- Special Mission Projects: Modified versions of Cora & Cora X for other applications (cargo, hybrids, tech development platforms).

Wisk needs a strong leader to ensure that R&D projects reach their goals and set us up for future success.-

What you'll do

• Support and/or Lead R&D projects as required
• Write code, turn wrenches, build harnesses, analyze data, build & fix things, and document results!

Experience

• 5+ years of direct hands-on experience in the design, integration, build, and test of prototype systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Engineering is more than a career demonstrated by personal interests and projects
