Inbound Logistics is the leading supply chain information source with a large and responsive audience across our platform, including magazines, web, app, newsletters, directories, podcasts, business networks, and social media. We continue expanding and seek a sales professional to develop our business in Europe.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for growing and retaining a customer portfolio. As the point of sale brand ambassador, the Business Development Executive mission is to build long-term successful client relationships with Inbound Logistics.

You will identify and sell to global logistics, technology, and transportation companies interested in developing their business with global enterprises located in North America.

Business Development Responsibilities

  • Generate new business by identifying prospects & contacts.
  • Establish contacts and build relationships at multiple levels in various departments within accounts.
  • Actively generate demand by frequently contacting prospects/customers via email, phone, and video conferencing to build rapport, understand the customer's needs.
  • Generate revenue to meet monthly revenue goals.
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth within accounts.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the US-based manager.
  • Organize and prioritize opportunities utilizing sales management tools.

Exceptional Customer Service Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality execution against expectations, identify issues, and implement solutions promptly.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates and in conjunction with the Inbound Logistics team.
  • Collaborate and actively communicate with partners on the production team regarding customer needs, issues, and solutions to meet customer expectations

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of previous sales experience
  • Enjoy prospecting and data management of prospects and sales
  • Are technically proficient in Hubspot & the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Demonstrated negotiation and sales strategies experience
  • Have Supply Chain/Transportation/Logistics industry experience
