Based out of our growing Lexington, KY office, as a Business Development Representative within our Supplies division you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable and experienced in making dozens of calls per day while speaking to customers across multiple vertical markets and sales channels. Teamwork is essential for success in this high volume, fast-paced role!

What You'll Do

  • Convert new sales opportunities through the inbound lead process and outbound cold calling
  • Work with Xometry customers as well as prospects on potential growth
  • Expand existing sales opportunities into targeting key accounts
  • Renew key accounts through various account nurturing programs
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to overall strengthen the account
  • Close sales and achieve monthly sales quotas
  • Identify key accounts and proactively research and reach out to similar companies
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects
  • Collaborate with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of proven inside sales experience
  • Track record of high-volume performance and over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence with a customer-oriented approach
  • Proficient with productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
