Job Overview

The Director of Commercial Sales Enablement will own and manage strategic initiatives designed to improve sales productivity across Omada’s go-to-market teams. This person will report to the Vice President of Commercial Operations and Strategy.

In this role, you will combine strategic thinking with execution to define, deliver and measure productivity initiatives which may include skills training, sales methodologies, tool & process improvements, best practice sharing, resource development, coaching programs, and more. To that end, you will define what “best-in-class” means in partnership with stakeholders, including Employer Sales, Payer Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Product, Alliances and Customer Success.

Your impact:

  • Provide direct leadership of sales training, deal desk and sales enablement teams
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with business leadership at all levels to understand priorities, secure input and earn buy-in
  • Serve as the commercial GTM lead on key company initiatives driving execution across both direct and indirect teams to hit milestones and achieve results.
  • Lead and develop processes to clearly define business requirements and shepherd go to market projects through Omada’s sales process
  • Iterate and manage our sales/commercial effectiveness related systems and processes and governance - continuously refining sales enablement best practices as the commercial organization evolves and grows over time
  • Coach and mentor your team, who’s responsible for the organization of sales kickoffs, Learning and Development, RFPs, Deal Desk and commercial playbooks.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • 8-10 plus years of successful sales enablement, sales and/or sales management experience and/or 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Consulting/Project Management/Marketing with responsibility and project experience in Commercial areas of the business.

    • Experience in both large, well-run public companies and smaller, high-growth
      companies is a plus
  • Experience working with B2B decision makers, healthcare experience is a plus

  • An understanding of cross-functional interdependencies in achieving company strategy

  • A proven track record of building and managing multi-functional teams and a passion for people management, development and growth.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • BA/BS degree, MBA desirable with preferred focus on Strategy, Marketing and Sales
