About the Role

As Partner Marketing Lead, you will own, in partnership with our Business Development team, launching and managing new partner channels to acquire homebuyers and sellers. You will support communicating Orchard’s value to potential partners, activating those partnerships, and ensuring the end customer becomes a raving fan of Orchard.

In addition to business development, you will work closely with marketing, creative teams, sales, product, and the rest of product marketing to: 

  • Develop Orchard’s positioning and key value propositions to partners and their audiences based on customer insights and research 
  • Create high-impact content, including materials for partner organizations to train their front-line teams
  • Understand the customer who comes in through a partnership, identify opportunities to improve their experience, and share learnings across Orchard and partners to empower them to build an exceptional experience for this group
  • Collaborate directly with partners to improve conversion of their audience to Orchard customers
  • Develop marketing and PR strategies to promote Orchard programs to the industry and relevant partners

We’re looking for a strategic, experienced, and collaborative partner marketing lead who has a passion for storytelling and enjoys crafting messages that demonstrate the value of our product to our customers and partners alike. 

The ideal candidate is a strong written and verbal communicator; a strong cross-functional collaborator; excels at distilling complex processes into simple, digestible concepts; possesses a passion for customer research; has a great mix of business judgment and creative problem-solving skills; and is passionate about improving the customer experience. 

This role will report to the Head of Product Marketing and is ideally based out of one of our offices in NYC or Austin, but we are open to remote for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Partner with Business Development on all stages when creating and supporting partner channels: strategy and positioning, outreach messaging and collateral, partner training and activation, and ongoing optimization. 
  • Create and optimize propositions and messaging for partners to drive key KPIs, as well as clearly set customer expectations and communicate Orchard’s value to customers at each stage of the customer journey
  • Incorporate feedback from customers and internal teams to define Orchard’s core value propositions for customers and identify opportunities to improve messaging, as well as product/partnership enhancements and partnership opportunities
  • Excel at partner and cross-functional collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and have strong bias for action.

We’d Love to Hear From You if You:

  • Have 4-5+ years of product/partner marketing or other relevant experience at a fast-growing company 
  • Have experience building and maintaining autonomous client relationships
  • Have experience closely partnering with Business Development or Sales teams
  • Have experience running customer research studies
  • Possess a customer first mentality, and are constantly thinking about how to create raving fans 
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, and are able to distill complex processes into clear summaries 
  • Excel at external and cross-functional collaboration, and are comfortable working with many teams and sometimes wearing many hats
  • Are scrappy with a no-task-too-small mindset and able to effectively manage multiple projects and timelines
  • Exhibit a bias for action with a desire to make an impact every single day
