** Position Overview: **
The Outset Medical Vice President of Sales- Home will be responsible for and
manage the Home sales team- this includes leaders and representatives around
the nation. This individual will hire, train, coach and develop the team to
deliver superior results daily. This person will collaborate with other
departments/colleagues to train patients and grow Tablo sales in the home.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute short- and long-term sales and organizational strategies for the home to achieve strategic objectives and exceed quarterly/annual revenue goals
- Work directly with Market Directors to build out sales plans that will meet and exceed goals selling into the home
- Develop and scale a high performance clinical and capital organization, maximizing productivity and competency at all levels
- Focus sales strategy on enterprise solutions that will influence the home segment where dialysis can be delivered.
- Develop and drive executive level relationships within top health systems
- Support all stages of the sales process guiding internal teams to collaborate and rally around development of innovative solutions to meet or exceed identified sales targets
- Utilize industry data and trends to develop business opportunities and identify product development needs of the customers to grow market share and reach new customers and patients
- Work with leadership to implement best practices and create strategies for sales improvement based on market research and/or competitive analysis
- Drive the creation and utilization of sales tools to improve rep productivity, increase market awareness, and create revenue predictability
- Hire, train, and retain top commercial talent
- Develop and build future Outset leaders at every level of the organization in line with the Outset Leadership Practices
- P&L management and achievement with responsibility to drive a high margin business
- KOL development
- Build Payer relationships in respective markets
- Identify and help drive PR initiatives in the region
Requirements/Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree Required; Master’s Degree/Advanced Degree Preferred
- Top performing sales leadership experience
- Preferred experience in leading both capital and clinical organizations
- Home sales experience preferred
- Strong business acumen and executive presence
- Knowledge of the major National Healthcare Groups and Regional IDNs
- Managing in disruptive environments and influencing behavior change
- Excellent communication, computational analysis, winning attitude, and team development skills
- Inspirational leadership style, and track record of developing high performers
