POSITION TITLE : Business Development Manager

Owlet is searching for a driven, experienced, and self-motivated Full- Time Business Development Manager to on-board and oversee retail accounts. The ideal candidate has a track record of exceeding sales quotas and experience developing relationships. The Business Development Manager will work with various retail accounts and assist in bringing new customers on- board. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and build rapport with Owlet accounts
• Find new retailers to sell the Owlet branded products
• Introduce new lines of product to retail partners
• Protect margins and negotiate space on the retail floor
• Review sell-through data and look for opportunities to improve
• Oversee onboarding process to ensure exceptional customer in-store experience
• Provide trade show support
• Work cross-functionally with other organizations including marketing, sales ops, finance and product development

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience in a Retail Sales and/or Account Management
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
• Experience in growing brands
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, and ability to work in a dynamic sales environment
• Proven ability to multitask, detailed-oriented, efficient and with strong customer service skills
• Strong presence with decision-makers at large retailers
• Mission-oriented and results-driven personality
• Independent and quick self-learner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge
