Why We Need You

PagerDuty is building out its global Accounting and Finance function and is looking to hire an accounts payable professional for the newly created position of AP Analyst ( individual contributor). We are looking for someone who will support the finance department by scaling our company’s global accounts payable function.

The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for increasing efficiency and accuracy in our accounts payable process by using our current processes and ensuring standard methodologies as we implement new systems and tools. This role reports into the AP Lead.

How You Impact Our Vision

  • Process between 300-400 invoice each month; ** ** PO and non-PO invoices
  • Facilitate payments and control expenses by processing invoices in Netsuite
  • Organize and maintain the AP inbox
  • Act as a liaison between internal business users and vendors
  • Answer inquiries in an efficient and courteous manner
  • Maintain accounts payable reports and files
  • Reconcile and analyze accounts, as required
  • Assist with cash forecasting
  • Review and process expense reports in Expensify
  • AP metrics reporting and Ad hoc tasks, as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

About You: Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience with full cycle accounts payable and expense reports
  • Working knowledge of systems, Full Cycle Accounts Payable and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Experienced Excel, Word and PowerPoint user
  • Experience with accounts payable systems, ideally NetSuite
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to all levels of the company and external vendors

Preferred Qualifications

  • AP Invoice entry experience
  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Experience in the tech or comparable industry with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
