How You Impact Our Vision

As a Technical Enablement Program Manager, you will be a key part of our Sales Enablement team, and thus key to the continued scaling of PagerDuty. You will:

  • Have primary responsibility for developing and executing the enablement strategy for the PagerDuty solutions portfolio, including go-to-market sales plays, product launches, competitive positioning, and technical training.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, especially Product Marketing and Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions leadership, to develop and deliver content for employee onboarding and continuous education programs using the most effective format and delivery vehicle (e.g. eLearning, in person training, virtual live training, etc). This includes gathering and sharing feedback from the delivery of these materials for continuous improvement
  • Work with subject matter experts to organize go-to-market play and product in our content management system (Seismic), monitor and report on usage and effectiveness of that content
  • Facilitate, and as needed, deliver live training, exercises, and presentations both virtually and in-person
  • Communicate and implement enablement expertise and best practices (clear learning objectives, content review cycles, testing/pilots to project timelines, measurement, feedback, adaptation)
  • Monitor and report on relevant Sales Enablement effectiveness for ramping and ramped employees

About You

  • 5+ years experience selling or supporting (AE/AM, SC/SE, CSM) SaaS tools in the incident management, monitoring/observability, automation, or ITSM space
  • Understanding of monitoring & observability tools, service management tools, and ITSM/ITIL methodologies
  • Understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc) and software architectures (microservices, containers, serverless)
  • Able to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams. Some project management training a plus
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, with a growth mindset and passion for lifelong learning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, able to deliver a variety of in-person and virtual training courses
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail, able to identify gaps in processes and rollout plans and solve for them effectively.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, methodologies, and value/solution selling best practices
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Up to 25% travel, primarily in North America (SF, Atlanta, Toronto) but occasionally international (London, Sydney)
  • Desired: experience with adult learning, training, design thinking and/or instructional design
