About the Role:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing general ledger analysis and must be extremely strong in the general ledger reconciliations. Candidates should have the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities and thrive in a highly driven environment. The Senior Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and have high visibility to senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ledger reconciliations, including subsidiary ledgers, on a monthly basis

  • Assist with month end close procedures

  • Compile and prepare entries to the general ledger

  • Concurrently perform multiple assignments

  • Collect data and perform research on the details of transactions

  • Gather and prepare materials for audit and external financial compliance activities

  • Prepare supporting schedules for consolidated monthly financial statements

  • Preparation of debt compliance reporting deliverables

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, along with the maintenance of policies and procedures

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of month-end balance sheet accounts and monthly budget to actual analysis

  • Perform internal control procedure in order to help ensure the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information, the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, and the ways in which the organization safeguards assets and complies with laws, regulations, and contracts

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years public accounting or corporate accounting experience, SaaS experience preferred not required
  • CPA a plus
  • Experience with large ERP
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to effectively communicate finding and conclusions to management
  • Ability to manage a varied and diverse workload, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high degree of attention to detail/commitment to continuous process improvement
  • Willing/excited to work in a fast-paced, but sometimes intense, rapidly expanding company
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information and to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Orientation to “roll up your sleeves” to do what it takes to meet commitments
