Located in Menlo Park, CA, we are seeking a talented and highly motivated Director of Product Management to join our team.

Summary

The Director will be responsible for managing the clinical product management team and the continued development and commercial support of the Personalis Diagnostics Platform, including our Liquid Biopsy offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the multi-year product strategy and product roadmap for the oncology diagnostics product portfolio
  • Identify business opportunities, create business cases and financial models for new market opportunities and proposals
  • Perform market and competitive analysis to fully understand the market and customer needs
  • Remain up-to-date on developments and innovations in the molecular diagnostic industry as they apply to the company’s marketing plans and products.
  • Build strong relationships with R&D, Business Development, Regulatory, Finance and other key functions and teams
  • Develop and drive the marketing strategy including new product launches
  • Manage the development of high impact sales tools in collaboration with outbound marketing

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in life science, advanced degree (MS, Ph.D. or M.B.A.) preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of clinical product management experience in oncology
  • Deep understanding of the breast cancer market development, clinical and regulatory requirements for bringing in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) or companion diagnostics (CDx) to market
  • Experience or strong understanding of next-generation sequencing technology and precision oncology
  • Track record of leading successful products
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
