Summary:

The Supervisor, Materials Management will oversee and coordinate the work of the material handlers in
performing the administrative and physical tasks involved in the receiving, storing, shipping, staging,
cycle counting and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day stockroom activities which include shipping, receiving, and handling of
  materials.
• Hires and trains materials handlers.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Contribute to the development of department processes and procedures to meet current regulatory
  requirements.
• Lead cycle count and physical inventory programs.
• Monitor safety stock levels and make adjustment recommendations.
• Help with space utilization and inventory organization.
• Manage VMI and laboratory Kanban programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a Material Lead role in a regulated environment. Preferably in
  the pharma, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience, preferred.
• Knowledge of QAD or other ERP applications such as Oracle or SAP.
• Self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills who pays attention to details.
