Business Tax Preparation Program Manager at Pilot | Powderkeg

The Role

We are building out Pilot’s very first internal team of tax professionals.

Half of Pilot’s bookkeeping customers also buy our tax services. Doing both means that we have the opportunity to provide an exceptionally efficient, streamlined tax experience for our customers, via smart internal management of our tax partner relationships and an expertly crafted customer-facing tax onboarding and filing experience. Today, we partner with trusted tax providers but are excited to begin to offer this experience in-house.

Key Responsibilities

Our Business Tax Preparation Program Manager will report into our Tax Operations Senior Manager, and assist in providing tax services to Pilot’s customers. This includes:

  • Delivering high quality tax compliance and information reporting services to our growing customer base
  • Managing our team of Business Tax Preparation professionals
  • Facilitating the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns, and the accurate, timely filing of tax forms
  • Working with customers & service providers on deliverables and communications

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management or its equivalent
  • 4-6 years previous experience in managing accounting or tax processes
  • Strong communication and organization skills
