The Role

Pilot is growing quickly, and we’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Financial Automation team and help build the future of the financial back- office for small businesses and startups.

The Financial Automation’s team’s mission is to build the software that powers best-in-class bookkeeping services for our customers. We build the integrations that allows us to efficiently and scalably ingest data from our customer’s business sources of truth and turn that data into correct accounting for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate ambiguous or complex ideas into clear, executable projects
  • Spend significant time with (internal and external) customers to identify unmet needs and collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Operations to craft product experiences that customers love
  • Define and deliver on key success metrics for your products
  • Combine qualitative research with quantitative analysis to deliver insights that inform your product decisions
  • Own and drive the product lifecycle from ideation through implementation and launch
  • Help evolve the PM discipline within the Product organization

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in product management
  • Deep experience and expertise in accounting and finance is strongly preferred
  • An entrepreneurial, customer-focused product mindset
  • Built B2B products or integrations connecting SaaS products, particularly for high-growth companies
  • Impeccable product taste and have shipped products with great user experiences
  • Structured problem solver and expert at prioritization
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and disciplines using qualitative and quantitative methods to solve ambiguous problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Track record of delivering business results
