The Role

Product Specialists at Pilot are product-minded operations experts focused on R&D and cross-functional alignment. This team leverages its intimate understanding of Pilot’s products and services to ensure that all initiatives companywide from marketing to EPD have the technical support they need to set the right goals and deliver on them.

As a Product Ops Tech Lead for Crypto, you would be a senior IC expected to lead project initiatives in designing and scaling operational workflows, consulting cross-functional partners in GTM or R&D teams, and developing Operations and Product strategy.

Key Responsbilities

• Define and evolve our operational processes as we build for scale
• Integrate with Engineering, Product, and Design to define specifications for, test, launch, and ensure successful adoption of new product features
• Analyze our current operational processes to determine opportunities for automation and improved customer experience
• Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to advocate for customer needs

About You

Need to haves

• You have ~7-10 years of relevant work experience and have developed technical expertise in accounting or finance.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
• Highly analytical and motivated to derive actionable insight from large amounts of unstructured information.
• Systems thinker with the ability to independently carry out rigorous problem solving.
• Excellent project management with demonstrated ability to drive forward progress on multiple cross-functional initiatives.

Nice to haves

• Direct experience with finance/accounting for crypto companies or direct experience at a crypto company
