The Role

  • Provide a vision and strategy of Pilot’s training objective focused on delivery and stakeholder relationships
  • Identify needs, create materials, and deliver internal L&D programs
  • Drive the evaluation of existing initiatives and build new strategies based on internal stakeholder demands
  • Partner with internal and external parties to offer learning opportunities at different levels of the organization

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver live and virtual training sessions, workshops and other training programs covering existing and newly developed content
  • Produce course materials such as workbooks, instructional guides, presentations, collateral, internal communication, and other content to meet company learning objectives
  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs through engagement surveys and internal relationships to further improve existing initiatives
  • Partner with internal resources and subject matter experts across the organization to harness their collective expertise to design, develop, and deliver the most effective training programs
  • Collaborate with SMEs in understanding Pilot’s application/platform to teach technical concepts and product functionality clearly.
  • Design and develop management training
  • Implement and report on metrics to evaluate success of L&D initiatives
  • Help managers develop growth plans or individual development plans
  • Facilitate and plan training events from concept to fruition
  • Streamline L&D processes
  • Manage the implementation of LMS or measurement tools
  • Perform other related duties when assigned

About You

  • 10+ years of developing & delivering learning programs required
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Finance or Accounting experience preferred and/or experience with FinTech companies a plus
  • Must have leadership development experience
  • Experience in developing and delivering technical program classes
  • Technical competence and ability to learn technology quickly through self training
  • Significant knowledge of training techniques & learning program delivery formats
  • Experience facilitating the delivery of training programs both in person and virtually
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices. LMS experience a plus
  • Ability to moderate large groups
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Google Suite
