About the Role:

Planet monitors the Earth by observing the entire Earth everyday. The market for these insights is new and therefore requires engineering that embraces change as we establish product market fit. Customer platform engineers are focused on continuously improving the value we deliver to customers, increasing the market for the earth observation industry.
As a data engineer, you will contribute to building an online data platform that can serve information at scale to our customers. You will also help deliver insights to customers about their platform use and power the personalization of the customer and partner ecosystem.
In this role, you will be challenged to: build and utilize scalable data infrastructure to serve customer needs, contribute a sharp product and business sense to the team, and think big yet deliver value incrementally.
