Riverside Research is seeking a Part Time Scrum Master, capable of leading teams through the agile process to support various Air Force software projects. In this position, a successful candidate is responsible for facilitating Scrums by clearing development obstacles, addressing team dynamics, ensuring a good relationship between the team and product owner, and approaching problems iteratively to ensure engineers, researchers, and developers can perform cutting-edge research supporting national security interests.

** ** Job Responsibilities :

  • Ability to successfully perform responsibilities as detailed in the Scrum guide
  • Apply agile development methodologies including Kanban
  • Maintain Jira and Confluence spaces
  • Support program manager with staff and resource planning
  • Provide software development support on an AD HOC basis
  • Lead and coach the organization in its Scrum adoption
  • Plan Scrum implementations within the organization
  • Facilitate continuous improvement within the Scrum Team
  • Facilitate and coach agile development teams to ensure products are delivered on time with the quality specified
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications :

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related STEM degree
  • Professional Scrum Certification
  • 5+ years working with agile development methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the Scrum
  • Strong servant leadership skills
  • Ability to work with multiple product teams
  • Ability to collaborate with technically and organizationally diverse personnel
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting the DoD
  • Experience in DevOps and/or DevSecOps
