About the Role:

Epicor Data Migration Consultant

Fission Consulting is currently in search of an Epicor Data Migration Consultant to join our growing technology organization as a contractor or full-time hire. In this role, the Epicor Data Migration Consultant will be responsible for loading data to our client's Epicor system in support of a new implementation. Additional work will involve providing subject matter expertise on Epicor data migration best practices as well as assisting the client with data validation and issue revision. The Epicor Data Migration Consultant will be responsible for the "Load" role on a broader project team that is managing the entire ETL data migration process.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in design sessions as needed to capture key project requirements and develop load strategy.
• Analyze provided client documentation and data in support of solution design.
• Perform data uploads into Epicor - DMT tool experience required.
• Perform preliminary data validation testing on loaded data to assist users in reviewing.
• Review issue logs and manage the troubleshooting process to resolve data errors.
• Manage and communicate work responsibilities to client resources and third-party contractors.
• Lead, monitor, and communicate the progress of all data loading activities
• Automate and enhance manual data load activities as needed.
• Collaborate with the project team to capture current and future requirements for incorporation into Fission software.

Qualifications:

• 3+ Years of experience working with Epicor, specifically utilizing the DMT tool.
• Knowledge of Epicor data schema and functionality.
• Experience developing technical load programs as part of a larger ETL process.
• Experience in leveraging multiple data conversion methodologies.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of general business processes such as accounting, inventory management, production, sales, and purchasing.
• US Citizen with a valid driver's license and passport
• Availability for occasional weekend work
