Talent Acquisition Specialist:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist role will be responsible for creating and running the internal Fission recruitment program. This pertains to the interview and sourcing process, campus recruiting, and experienced hire recruiting.

Fission is headquartered in Chicago, IL. While the role can be done partially remote, a hybrid office/work from home approach in the Chicagoland area is strongly preferred.

Fission Consulting provides IT advisory, project management, automated data migration, and IT separation solutions to clients in support of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Led by a team of experienced advisors, we help our clients mitigate investment risk and make more informed IT decisions.

The Fission Operations team is making a focused and deliberate effort to improve our internal and back-office processes and capabilities.

The Chicagoland area houses the majority of Fission Consulting's leadership team, along with several team members from the delivery team. We are currently standardizing our internal processes, building out an in-house software to accelerate project delivery, and looking to scale our business quickly but effectively by hiring great people. New hires will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact on our internal culture and processes, product portfolio, and growth trajectory.

Responsibilities :

Build & Manage College Recruiting Program (40%)
_The most immediate focus will be establishing a campus recruiting program and running it for the first time in 2022. Fission is looking to standardize its hiring process and would like someone experienced to help us define this. Focusing on campus recruiting is a critical part of our hiring and scaling plan, so that in the summer of 2023, we can bring on our first official "from campus" onboarding class. _

  • Partner with key stakeholders and collaborate with team members to determine and communicate campus recruitment strategy, including school selection, pipeline programs, candidate care, etc.
  • Manage strategic partnerships with targeted undergraduate programs and schools, including relationships with professors, deans, and career counselors
  • Engage students (in-person and virtually) through job fairs, information sessions, case studies, campus organizations, etc.
  • Plan recruiting and networking events by working with campus contacts to staff and coordinate the events
  • Track and report on campus recruiting and experienced recruiting results to identify areas for process and performance improvements

Develop / Enhance Fission 's Recruiting Operations (40%)
_A key additional focuses of this role will be defining what our recruiting process looks like, excelling at running an 'experienced hire' recruiting program, and assisting in other general Operations goals that enable the strategic growth of the business. While campus recruiting is critical and urgent, we need an experienced team member to be a leader for talent acquisition and other Operations processes in general. _

  • Establish and standardize the 'Fission' interviewing, recruiting, and hiring processes to ensure consistent approaches to the process and to improve scalability
  • Actively and regularly report updates and key decisions to the Director of Operations to ensure processes, recruiting collateral, candidate pipeline, and overall recruiting process are aligning to company brand, strategy, and needs
  • Leverage employment branding to build awareness and engagement, including social media to engage with prospective candidates
  • Coordinate with internal department leads to ensure hiring plan is always up to date
  • Work with Operations team / Director of Operations to standardize interview process and documentation
  • Assist with internal Operations initiatives during slower recruiting cycles to help continue to build the business

Generate & Nurture Talent Pipeline; Recruitment (20%)

  • Utilize business systems and technology to track and capture data, progress, and status
  • Organize and oversee the candidate process from initial outreach through to the hiring and onboarding process
  • Generate content or leverage existing collateral to deliver or present to candidates and new hires
  • Document and organize internal networks and contacts to help create and track experienced candidate pipeline

Qualifications _ _

_The ideal candidate has experience in the consulting industry and has a proven track record of establishing a campus recruiting program and hiring experienced talent as this role will be tasked with building a net new program that influences growth and company culture. _

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on undergraduate campus recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated experience qualifying, selling, and closing top talent candidates, particularly in the consulting industry
  • Ability to collaborate, influence and build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently
  • Experience in event planning preferred
  • Strong pulse on industry best practices and innovations, as well as remaining competitive in the market
  • Ability to attend recruitment events scheduled outside of traditional business hours
  • Ability to travel (approximately 25%)
