Job Summary:
Wyze seeks a Finance Manager to be a key member of our Financial Planning &
Analysis Team. In this role, you will work side by side with business and finance leaders
to develop business strategies, financial models, and analytical insights.
An ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and maintaining enterprise-level
financial models that inform company strategies. In your role, you will partner with
product and sales teams to help make great technology accessible. At Wyze, Finance is
a core part of the business team, not a detached function. You will enjoy a fast-paced
environment where you will have chances to influence the decisions of the executives,
and what you do will have a significant impact on the growth and profitability of the
business.
This role requires great attention to detail, the ability to clearly articulate key messages
with business leaders and external constituents, and the desire to be on a dynamic
team within a fast-growing organization.
The successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional equally
comfortable in thinking big and driving business direction through detailed analysis of
business metrics and highly ambiguous situations. The successful candidate will also be
able to communicate effectively with executive leadership, tackle multiple concurrent
projects, and efficiently complete deliverables as part of a high-performing team. The
ability to think clearly, analyze quantitively, problem solve, and prioritize are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive long-term growth and profitability using product-specific and/or sales-channel-specific action-drive data insight and reporting.
- Provide pricing support to hardware and software products.
- Drive accuracy improvements to sales planning and supply-to-demand matching.
- Develop new performance metrics and improve existing processes to drive insight, accountability, and controllership.
- Have a significant impact on the trajectory of the business; uncover key business insights and opportunities with financial return on investment (ROI), and work with stakeholders to prioritize and optimize based on customer impact and cost/benefit evaluation.
- Build financial models for new business concepts and special projections and drive insightful deep dives into our business.
- Partner with Business Intelligence Engineers and Finance leads to streamline recurring financial and business reporting procedures, and continuously improve upon best practices.
- Develop planning/forecast models and assist in the development of the long-term projections, annual budget, and in-year forecasts.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of finance experience, or master’s degree and 3+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.

- Industry experience in e-commerce, consumer technology, distribution, retail, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Proven ability to drive cross-organization changes.
- Experience building, leading, and executing financial processes and structure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An MBA or MS in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with multiple financial reporting systems (Oracle NetSuite, SQL, etc.).
- Familiarity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Compensation range is $68k- $110k annual base compensation*.
*base compensation is dependant on the results of the final interview.
