About G2’s Intern Program
G2’s Intern Program is back for the third summer, and we’re excited to have it be the biggest one yet! You’ll be paired with an Intern Mentor who will guide you through your internship and set you up for success. All interns will be invited to participate in Professional Development and Social events. The Program will close with G2’s Mid-Year Meetup celebration, a global Hybrid event where you’ll be able to meet the majority of our US-based teams.
G2’s 2023 Summer Intern Program will be a Hybrid 10 week program - Interns are expected to work out of our Downtown Chicago Headquarters Tuesday through Thursday.
About The Role
The Business Systems team plays an integral role within the Revenue Organization and specifically under the umbrella of Revenue Operations. This team is responsible for the strategic ownership of G2s RevOrg software stack and help create a more efficient and effective UI/UX for end users of these tools. Data within and that which is sent between each tool is monitored and maintained by Business Systems. We are seen as an advisor to key business stakeholders, and help them to leverage this data and turn it into actionable insights.
Projects we have completed include; re-architecting the data model of Salesforce Accounts, implementing new software & training end users, and re- implementing CPQ functionality to better forecast metrics such as ARR. These and other initiatives have helped save time for Sales Reps and drastically enhanced the availability of key metrics. All of these enhancements have helped create a more efficient and scalable revenue engine for G2.
