The Business Development Manager role will be responsible for assessing and
managing target markets in a specified set of international territories. This
role requires technical aptitude in developing a deep understanding of the
radiation therapy workflow and the various stakeholders in a clinical setting.
This role requires the skills necessary to conduct intelligence gathering on
customer use cases, developing market specific commercial insights and growing
MIM’s user base in the defined territories. The BDM is also responsible for
establishing new distribution and partner channels as well as managing
existing ones.
What You'll Do
- Report directly to the International Business Development Team Lead
- This is a customer-facing role in which you will be required to function as a manager of multiple distribution channels and to ensure success in their respective territories by developing and executing on various sales strategies
- Perform technical demonstrations and provide software training to distributors and end users
- Develop, execute and evolve best practices for distribution channels
- Measure success of customers and distribution channels with well defined data gathering logic and metrics
- Provide consultation on, manage and support technology adoption with clinical stakeholders
- Work closely with the various international business development teams in order to foster optimized adoption of MIM Software’s cutting edge technologies globally
- Attend technical conferences
What You'll Need
- Minimum 4 years BS, preferably in Biomedical Engineering
- Advantageous to have a minimum of 6-12 months of clinical experience in the Radiation Therapy department
- Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Aptitude to develop a deep clinical and technical understanding of clinical department processes
- Preferable experience with software sales or interfacing in the field of radiation therapy
- Strong intercultural communication skills
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of your time annually
- Live within an hour of an international airport
