Role Overview:

At Wellcrafted Consulting, we're seeking an experienced Fractional CTO who can provide guidance, leadership, and technological insight to our clientele and our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of technology, leadership, and communication with our clients and both our on- shore and off-shore development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction: Communicate and translate intricate technical details, gather client requirements, and provide advice on vital technical decisions.
• Project Management: Partner with cross-functional team members including Project Managers, Account Managers, and Finance Managers to ensure projects align with client expectations.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage both on-shore and off-shore senior developers who are fluent in English and operate within the Eastern Time Zone. This includes 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and code review processes to ensure high-quality code.
• Budget and Timeline: Draft and monitor project budgets and timelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Technical Acumen: Proficient in React and Python, with some understanding of C#/.NET, Ruby on Rails, iOS, and Android.
• AWS Expertise: Profound knowledge of setting up and managing AWS environments tailored to client needs.
• Software Architecture: Demonstrable proficiency in software architecture.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working with agile methodologies.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate technical concepts into layman's terms.
• Estimation: Able to estimate projects accurately based on detailed requirements.
• Whiteboarding: Fluent in using online whiteboarding tools and can effectively communicate product specifications through diagrams.

Additional Requirements:

• This role is initially part-time.
• Candidate must start their workday at 8 am EST.
