inclusive world by digitizing loans between friends and family. Zirtue is the
first patent-pending relationship-based lending application that is
simplifying and formalizes lending money between friends, family, and trusted
relationships with automatic loan payments.
Now, Zirtue is seeking a strong employee-facing HR Generalist based in Dallas
to be an essential member of the People Management Team and responsible for
performing HR-related duties on a professional level. The HR Generalist will
contribute to the success of the organization by offering hands-on guidance
and support in the following functional areas: talent acquisition/recruitment,
onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and HR
best practices. Maintains an intimate understanding of the organization's
departments and the business in order to build positive and productive
relationships between all employees and leadership.
The right candidate will understand the HR Hire-to-Retire process along with
incorporating HR best practices - and will excel as our HR compliance expert
and employee relations point of contact.
Job Summary
The HR Generalist is an essential member of the People Management Team and is
responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. The HR
Generalist will contribute to the success of the organization by offering
hands-on guidance and support in the following functional areas: talent
acquisition/recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management,
employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices. Maintains an intimate
understanding of the organization's departments and the business in order to
build positive and productive relationships between all employees and
leadership.
Essential Functions
- Serves as a primary point of contact for all staff regarding HR-related policies, processes, and resources.
- Provides professional advice and service to management on employee relations and performance management issues.
- Reviews, revises, and manages job descriptions. Collaborates with the leadership team in the creation and/or consolidation of positions.
- Aids in the coordination and monitoring of the employee performance development process.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to identify continual improvements in departmental efficiency and services performed. Participates in the development and coordination of a variety of programs and activities associated with engagement, organizational performance, and other activities as assigned.
- Creates and maintains applicable electronic HR forms/templates.
- Ensures compliance by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Administers and maintains FMLA, ADA, other applicable federal and state programs, and unemployment activities.
- Assists in any necessary investigations and/or disciplinary actions.
- Maintains and ensures compliance with employee personnel records.
- Conducts, tracks, and reports on exit interviews.
- Provides support and back-up to all HR functions including payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, and training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience may be considered.
- Three (3) plus years Human Resources experience with HR certifications
- Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills; ability to engage and successfully interact with employees and managers at all levels within an organization
- Good relationship-building, conflict resolution, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze employee and financial data in order to develop recommendations and solutions.
- Knowledgeable of current laws, regulations, and compliance issues affecting Human Resources at the federal and state levels.
- Demonstrated ability to perform job duties with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Good judgment and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive conversations and topics with discretion and tact.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Suite.
- HR Certifications are a plus
- Successful Startup Experience a plus

The expected total compensation (including base salary + equity) is $60,000-
$80,0000 range, depending on a variety of non-discriminatory factors,
including qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
