We seek a motivated and technically skilled Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. Reporting to our Director of IT and Cloud infrastructure, the ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal IT systems and infrastructure and assisting co-workers’ IT needs.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Deliver high-quality remote and on-site technical support to internal employees, prioritizing customer service and timely issue resolution</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Administer and troubleshoot servers, network equipment, and cloud-managed on-prem solutions</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Manage user accounts and permissions across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based identity management systems.</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Oversee conference room setups, including audio-visual equipment and video conferencing solutions</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Manage the lifecycle of Windows, Mac, and iOS devices via MDM platforms, covering deployment, maintenance, and break/fix tasks</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Coordinate the shipping, recovery, and inventory of devices for remote staff</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Procure, manage, and audit apps, SaaS subscriptions, and licenses, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Create and maintain comprehensive system and procedural documentation</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Actively engage in collaborative IT projects and work well in cross-departmental teams</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Monitor system health and security and participate in reactive and proactive support measures</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices, including cybersecurity measures</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 2+ years of professional IT experience, including a focus on Help Desk support and SaaS applications management experience</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Ability to be on-site at our downtown Chicago Loop office twice a week, with remote work for the remaining days</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Proficiency in administering Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based identity management solutions</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) for Windows, Mac, and iOS devices</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Familiarity with networking principles, particularly cloud-managed on-prem solutions</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Exceptional problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li>

Salary Range

<li>The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications</li>
