Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our software services company.
• The ideal candidate will be a C# .NET and Selenium automation expert with a strong track record in creating automation frameworks. Proficiency in C# is a must, and the candidate should excel in writing test cases, creating test plans, and executing automated tests.
• Experience with tools like Jira, QTest, and cloud-based testing platforms is essential. Additionally, expertise in Postman and database testing is desired.
• A solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is crucial, as the Senior QA Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, internal teams, and lead test case reviews for their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust automation frameworks using C# and Selenium to automate test cases.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and verify bug fixes.
• Utilize testing tools such as Jira and QTest to manage test cases, track defects, and report test results.
• Conduct database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Work with cloud-based testing platforms to perform testing in various environments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation testing process and methodologies.
• Execute regression testing as needed to validate software changes and updates.
• Actively participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Interact with client stakeholders to provide testing updates, clarify requirements, and address questions or concerns.
• Lead test case reviews within the QA team, providing feedback and guidance to junior testers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with E-commerce preferably with online commerce - Big Commerce or Shopify e-commerce websites
• 7+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on C# .NET and Selenium.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in C# programming and a deep understanding of the language.
• Excellent track record in writing clear and maintainable automated test scripts.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira and QTest.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and their configurations.
• Solid understanding of database testing principles.
• Proficiency in using Postman for API testing.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Detail-oriented and capable of identifying and documenting defects precisely.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• ISTQB or similar testing certifications are a plus.
