Ironclad is looking for a Director of Renewals Strategy & Operations to power our global renewals motions. The Director will be a key member of the global GTM Ops leadership team and will partner closely with both the VP of GTM Ops and the Chief Sales Officer. This critical role will play a pivotal part in setting long term strategy, creating processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency, and building relationships to facilitate cross- functional coordination. The role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to roll up your sleeves with a ship, shipmate, self mentality.
This individual will lead the Renewals Strategy & Operations team, helping to define and drive Renewals Strategy, including building alignment and visibility for Leadership while scaling the function and team. Experience in a fast growth SaaS company and an ability to drive transformation at scale are keys to success.
This individual will report to the VP of GTM Operations.
Responsibilities:
Build and motivate a team, creating trusted advisors and business partners to Leadership while providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
Prepare renewal quotes and notifications for Sales and Customers. Manage the auto-renewal processes while sometimes engaging with customers directly to negotiate renewals.
Manage the weekly forecasting and renewals pipeline reporting cadence, creating an accurate renewals forecast to support revenue planning. Leverage data and insights to make informed predictions about renewal rates and timing.
Drive annual and long-range planning in partnership with Sales Leadership, Sales Strategy & Ops, Finance, and other cross-functional teams. Collaborate with these teams to identify opportunities and resolve issues that may impact renewals.
Proactively identify areas for opportunity by analyzing data and delivering actionable insights. Make data-driven decisions to drive improvements.
Partner closely with the finance team to understand the impact on our annual plan, our long-range plan, and renewals and churn performance overall.
Partner with our GTM Systems team on ensuring the right systems & processes are in place to support evolving Renewals strategies, including the automation of internal and customer-facing processes.
Define and monitor KPIs. Provide a clean, centralized, and standardized view of the renewable install base and associated KPIs to enable target setting and tracking the health of the business
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related relevant areas.
10+ years of related experience, preferably in Sales or Customer Success Strategy / Revenue Operations positions.
Proven track record of successfully orchestrating large scale transformation projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Experience and understanding of the SaaS business model.
Possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Leadership.
Previous experience with Salesforce and scaling SaaS companies strongly preferred.
Team and goal-oriented with experience in managing, hiring, and motivating a team in a fast-moving environment.

Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $230,000
The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate.
