  • Open to remote work , but must be able to get to our HQ in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on a regular basis

About the position

Since we're a startup building other startups, we're building things no one has ever done before. That means we work with a lot of documents - legal documents, business models, etc. Together, they make for a fascinating combination - and we need someone to keep it all straight.

  • This role has two main functions:

    • Documenting our playbook and the processes in it , as it evolves. Make it graceful, repeatable, and efficient.

    • Managing the flow of information and documentation with outside parties - especially outside legal counsel.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with contracts, securities law, and managing relationships with lawyers, and experience defining processes and procedures to ensure reliable and repeated high performance.

  • Since we're a startup, this role will have a careful balance of doing just the right amount of documentation and process - not too much and not too little. We expect that you'll come into the role understanding that natural tension and revel in trying to find the optimal path.
