<p>Our Engineering Productivity (EP) team is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to drive our frontend dependency management, specifically making it more efficient and automate where we can. Engineering Productivity is predominantly an internally focused team so you'll be interacting with much of GitLab, and still have the chance to connect with customers and the wider community through merge requests. The team is globally distributed and very collaborative, so there's a lot of asynchronous communication.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The EP team has a large and unique opportunity to enable our teams to be more productive, which has an outsized impact on the product and customer results.&nbsp;This can be in the form of efficiency improvements, reducing toil, or even completely replacing an existing system to give orders of magnitude improvements.</p>

<h4>What you'll bring:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Strong experience working with Javascript</li>
<li>Strong experience working on Vue.js or React</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience working on Webpack/Vite</li>
<li>Experience actively contributing to architecture/solution design as the Frontend subject matter expert</li>
<li>Ideally have experience working in an EP team (or similar)</li>
<li>Experience working on Ruby on Rails and/or Postgres advantageous but not required.</li>

Our team is driving towards not only the targets but beyond. Our vision is to increment towards ideal but aim for significant, meaningful improvements measured by these KPIs.
